The WCFM takes place in Joseph, Oregon, on Saturdays, May 26 to Oct. 14, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a part-time position with fluctuating hours, but requires commitment to Saturdays during the market season (with the exception of Chief Joseph Days).

Behind the scenes, the manager coordinates permissions with the City of Joseph and market neighbors; recruits vendors and volunteers; schedules the vendors and special events; and works with the board of directors. On market days, the manager helps set up WCFM-related booths; remains at the market to manage SNAP and all inquiries; receives donations for WCFM merchandise; and helps take down booths. Additional responsibilities include working with the board treasurer to keep accurate financial records; promote the market; attend WCFM board meetings; support board fundraising efforts; and monitor the WCFM email, post office box, and voicemail.

A more detailed list will be provided to position finalists. This position reports to the WCFM board president.
